The Council of Higher Education has changed its logo to green as part of World Environment Day on June 5 and Türkiye Environment Week, aiming to raise awareness of environmental responsibility.
The Council of Higher Education’s logo has begun to be displayed in green across all digital platforms and social media accounts throughout Environment Week.
The logo change is intended to draw attention to environmental awareness and promote greater public consciousness regarding sustainable living.
President of the Council of Higher Education Erol Özvar also marked Türkiye Environment Week and World Environment Day on June 5 through a message shared on his social media account. Özvar stated:
“Environmental awareness begins with recognizing the beauty that surrounds us. Being able to see a tree, a flower, a butterfly, and all the living beings with whom we share our habitat is the foundation of our responsibility toward nature and our respect for our common future.
To highlight this awareness, we are using the Council of Higher Education’s logo in green across our digital platforms throughout Türkiye Environment Week.
Within our higher education system, we are expanding sustainable, energy-efficient, and environmentally friendly campuses, and we are resolutely continuing our efforts with the goal of leaving a more livable world for future generations.
With the hope that a nature-conscious way of life will continue to grow stronger…”
