PRESS STATEMENT

Following the court appointment of a trustee to the founding foundation of Istanbul Bilgi University, a Presidential Decision regarding the revocation of the university’s operating license, taken pursuant to Additional Article 11 of Law No. 2547, was published in today’s Official Gazette.

The Council of Higher Education is urgently taking the necessary measures to ensure that our students do not experience any hardship and that educational activities continue without interruption.

The necessary procedures will also be carried out to prevent any hardship affecting not only our students but also the administrative and academic staff employed at the university.
