In recent days, a number of news reports and commentaries have appeared in the media and on social media platforms concerning academics’ activities on digital platforms.

The opinion piece that has been made public is a response to a request submitted by one of our state universities to the competent authority authorized under the relevant legislation to provide an opinion. The opinion in question was shared with our state universities for information purposes.

No new regulation has been introduced by the Council on this matter.
