Council of Higher Education President Özvar Visits TEKNOFEST

The Council of Higher Education and Science Communication Office booths at TEKNOFEST attracted great interest from young people and visitors of all ages. Citizens actively participated in the “Science Cafe” events organized by the Science Communication Office.
The Council of Higher Education President Erol Özvar visited the festival grounds and toured the booths. He met with university rectors and students.
Stating that TEKNOFEST is one of the most important organizations showcasing the achievements of Turkish youth in the fields of science and technology, Özvar emphasized that young people can successfully achieve their goals when they believe in themselves. Özvar said, “TEKNOFEST is one of the largest organizations in the world that demonstrates this fact in the most concrete way.”
He emphasized that the TEKNOFEST generation represents the success of young people educated in the Turkish education system who have embraced science, saying, “Our educational institutions, both at the secondary and higher education levels, demonstrate through TEKNOFEST programs how much these young people can contribute to our country.”

Within the scope of TEKNOFEST, where science, artificial intelligence, technology, and young ideas come together, many universities organized Science Cafe events on different topics and fields at the booth of the Council of Higher Education.
With the goal of bringing science to the public, universities shared scientific information with visitors through interactive presentations and visual content at the booth.
