Council of Higher Education: “There has been no leak or unauthorized access to YÖKSİS and the data center. The data is secure.”

The Council of Higher Education has issued a statement regarding unfounded claims about the Higher Education Information System (YÖKSİS) and the data center. The statement, which confirms that YÖKSİS and the data center are secure, reads as follows:

"As a result of the regular checks we conduct at the Council of Higher Education, no breach or unauthorized access has been detected in YÖKSİS. To date, the Information and Communication Technologies Authority (BTK) has not reported any breach in our institution's information systems. Furthermore, our data center and systems undergo regular monthly scans. Data security is a matter of great importance to our institution, and every measure is taken and every effort is made to protect data.

We bring this matter to the attention of the public.”
