The Council of Higher Education's "International Programs for Researchers", which was launched in 2023 to encourage doctoral students and researchers to conduct research at international standards in the world's elite universities, continues to be implemented this year.

The third application period for the International Researcher Programs will start on September 22, 2025. Applications will close on October 17, 2025.

The International Programs for Researchers are as follows:

- Young Minds Program (GEP) for sending doctoral students working as research assistants abroad to conduct research on their thesis topics,

- Postdoctoral Research Program (DOSAP) for sending research assistants or assistant professors who have completed their doctoral studies abroad for postdoctoral studies,

- Applications will be accepted for the Academic Knowledge Program (AKAP) to send faculty members abroad to conduct research in priority areas in the 12th Development Plan within the scope of academic leave abroad (sabbatical).

Applications will be made from the General Procedures - YÖK Scholarships and Supports menu after logging in at https://yoksis.yok.gov.tr/.
