The results of the 2026 Higher Education Institutions Examination (YKS) have been announced. Candidates can access their results via the ÖSYM results portal at https://ykssonuc.osym.gov.tr.

A total of 2,255,076 candidates took the examination. Of these, 1,473,113 sat for the Field Proficiency Test (AYT), while 143,270 candidates took the Foreign Language Test (YDT).

President of the Council of Higher Education Erol Özvar extended his best wishes to all candidates and their families following the announcement of the results. In a message shared on his social media account, Özvar offered advice to candidates ahead of the university selection period, which will begin in the coming days. He said:

"Dear young people,

As you make your university selections, I encourage you to consider your interests, talents, and future goals. In particular, I recommend that you carefully evaluate the newly introduced undergraduate and associate degree programs in artificial intelligence, digital technologies, and the professions of the future.

As the Council of Higher Education, together with our universities, we are fully prepared to welcome you. I wish you success."
