“Sector on Campus Program” Reaches 22,000 Students

Implemented through cooperation between the Ministry of Industry and Technology and the Council of Higher Education, the “Sector on Campus Program” has prepared 22,000 students for professional life by delivering 790 courses at 137 universities in 57 provinces over the past three years.
Carried out under the “University–Industry Cooperation” protocol signed between the Ministry of Industry and Technology and the Council of Higher Education, the Sector on Campus Program continues to contribute to the training of the human resources needed by the business world. The program aims to strengthen university–industry collaboration.
Within the framework of the program, credit-bearing courses are offered at universities by experts from the Ministry’s affiliated, related, and associated institutions, as well as by field specialists working in industry, thereby supporting students’ theoretical knowledge with current practices and hands-on field experience.
Institutions and companies offering courses include TÜBİTAK, ASELSAN, TUSAŞ, Roketsan, Havelsan, Baykar, Turkcell, TÜRKSAT, Vestel, Bosch, Arçelik, Samsung, TOFAŞ, Migros, Kuveyt Türk, Anadolu Sigorta, and the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office.
Within the program, current and sector-focused courses have been offered in fields such as information and communication technologies, energy and environmental technologies, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, defense, aviation and space, electrical-electronics, materials, manufacturing and production, cybersecurity, finance, data science, automotive and transportation technologies, entrepreneurship, law, communications, pharmaceuticals, and textiles.
Launched in the Spring Semester of the 2022–2023 Academic Year with 17 universities in 11 provinces, the program expanded within three years to 57 provinces and 137 universities. With 790 courses offered by 108 companies, reaching 22,000 students, the program continues to be implemented widely across the country.
The program enables students to take courses from leading companies, aiming to deepen subject-matter expertise, support career planning, strengthen engagement with the business world, and contribute to employment outcomes.
Rapid Nationwide Expansion
To date, the universities that have offered the highest number of courses under the program are Dokuz Eylül University, Marmara University, Yozgat Bozok University, Çukurova University, Hitit University, and Yıldız Technical University. Çukurova University, Dokuz Eylül University, Erciyes University, and Hitit University are among the institutions that have offered courses every semester.
While the number of universities offering courses was 17 in the Spring Semester of the 2022–2023 Academic Year, this figure increased to 76 by the Fall Semester of the 2025–2026 Academic Year. The number of courses offered rose from 36 to 117, and the number of participating companies increased from 17 to 48.
