The Smoke-Free Campus Implementation Guide has been prepared through the collaboration of the Council of Higher Education, the Ministry of Health, and the Green Crescent Society of Türkiye to provide guidance for initiatives aimed at preventing the use of tobacco products on university campuses. The Guide sets out the fundamental principles, criteria, and implementation procedures for the planning, implementation, and sustainability of smoke-free campus practices.

Aiming to strengthen a culture of healthy living at universities and reduce both tobacco use and exposure to secondhand smoke, the Guide seeks to support the transformation of university campuses into healthier, safer environments that promote quality of life. It serves as an important reference resource to help higher education institutions implement this process through a shared vision and strong institutional commitment.
