CoHE Increases International Research Grants
The stipend given to PhD students and researchers benefiting from
programs under the International Research Projects has been increased
to 30 thousand TL and transportation support to 15 thousand TL.
Scholarship applications can be made between March 4 and April 26,
2024.

The Council of Higher Education has increased the amount of scholarships of
International Researcher Projects, which was launched the previous year to
encourage doctoral students and researchers to conduct research at
international standards in the world's elite universities.
The International Research Projects include the Academic Knowledge Program,
the Postdoctoral Research Program, the Young Minds Program and YÖK
International Fellowship Program.
The amount of scholarships granted to PhD students and researchers
benefiting from these programs has been determined as 30 thousand TL per
month for 2024 and 15 thousand TL for transportation. Scholarship
applications can be made between March 4 and April 26, 2024.
Academic Knowledge Program (AKAP)
With the project titled "Academic Knowledge Program-AKAP" designed within
the scope of sabbatical leave for faculty members abroad, 200 faculty
members are sent abroad to conduct research on paid academic leave.
Postdoctoral Research Program (DOSAP)
With DOSAP, 100 research assistants or assistant professors who have
completed their PhD studies at higher education institutions are supported
for their postdoctoral academic studies abroad.
Young Minds Program (GEP)
With the Young Minds Program, 100 PhD students working as research
assistants at universities are offered the opportunity to conduct research
on their thesis topics abroad for one to three months, without any field
restrictions.
YÖK International Fellowship Program
The program aims to bring PhD students and researchers from the world's
elite universities to Türkiye to conduct research at international
standards. In this context, 10 international students who are in the thesis
stage of their doctoral education in the fields of Turkish Language,
Turkish Literature, Turkology, Turkish and Ottoman History or Turkish
Culture in higher education institutions abroad and 10 international
researchers who have completed their doctoral studies in the same fields
within the last two years are given the opportunity to conduct research at
Turkish universities.
