CoHE Delegation Visits TRNC to Carry Out Technical Works with YÖDAK

CoHE Delegation visited the TRNC to conduct technical works with the TRNC's
Higher Education Planning, Evaluation, Accreditation and Coordination
Council (YÖDAK).
The delegation of the Council of Higher Education, headed by CoHE Deputy
President Prof. Haldun Göktaş was received by TRNC President Ersin Tatar,
TRNC Prime Minister Ünal Üstel and TRNC Minister of National Education
Nazım Çavuşoğlu.
During the meetings held with the officials of the Prime Ministry, the
newly appointed YÖDAK President Aykut Hocanın, members of the YÖDAK Board
of Directors and rectors of TRNC universities, the participants stressed on
the benefit of the experience and knowledge sharing of the Council of
Higher Education to increase the quality of education in the TRNC.
The Council of Higher Education will provide the necessary support to
improve the quality of higher education that will serve the international
recognition of the TRNC and TRNC universities. For this purpose, the
Council will provide technical support and share its knowledge and
experience with the TRNC to update all the necessary infrastructure of
YÖDAK, to establish quality control systems, to improve the informatics
infrastructure and ultimately to reach a better level of the higher
education system.
