CoHE Makes Important Arrangement on Academic Recruitment at Universities

According to the new arrangement made by the Council of Higher Education (CoHE), some parts or the complete titles of the graduate theses or dissertations of the candidates will not be stated as a requirement for application in the job advertisements for professors, associate professors and assistant professors at universities and special conditions that define a specific candidate will not be included in the announcements.
A new article has been added to the Regulation on the Promotion and Appointment to Faculty Member Positions dated June 12, 2018, and numbered 30449 with the amendment published in the Official Gazette today.
Accordingly, some parts or the complete titles of the graduate theses or dissertations of the candidates will not be stated as a requirement for application in the advertisements, and the advertisements will not include special conditions that define a specific candidate.
