CoHE Organizes Virtual Fair for Prospective Students: “Discover Your University YÖK Virtual Fair 2020”

The Council of Higher Education is organizing a virtual fair on 4-7 August for the promotion of universities and their programs in order to facilitate the process for the candidates who will select their universities this year.
With the “Discover Your University YÖK Virtual Fair 2020”, CoHE aims to introduce universities and programs to students online by minimizing the possible risks due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
According to the information obtained from CoHE, 200 higher education institutions will participate in the virtual fair. Higher education institutions will carry out live promotional activities, make audio and video interviews with candidates and answer the questions of students via live chat.
The fair aims to tell more about the higher education potential and opportunities to be offered to students such as higher education institutions, programs, departments, accommodation and scholarship opportunities, and social and cultural activities. It can be accessed at https://sanalfuar.yok.gov.tr.
In addition to YÖK-ATLAS, which was launched by the New CoHE to facilitate the selection procedures of university candidates and offers detailed information to university candidates about their programs of interest, this virtual fair brings all higher education institutions together and is anticipated to attract the attention of students and their parents.
