CoHE Steps in for Azerbaijani Doctors Who Want to Work in their Country

The Council of Higher Education sent a correspondence to universities to faciliate the granting of necessary permits under the current legislation to Azerbaijani doctors who want to return to their country temporarily to provide medical support in Azerbaijan due to the attacks of Armenia.
The correspondence was sent to the Rector’s Offices of 14 universities where Azerbaijani doctors work. In the correspondence, it was stated that Azerbaijani doctors working in the medical schools in Turkey applied to the Azerbaijani Embassy to go to their country to provide medical support because of the attacks started by Armenia against Azerbaijan.
For this reason, universities were asked to adopt a positive approach towards the issue and to do what is necessary after evaluating the demand of Azerbaijani doctors within the scope of the current legislation.
