While the minimum score required to be successful in the Turkish Medical
Equivalency Exam conducted by the Measuring, Selection and Placement Center
was 40 out of 100, it was reduced to 35 points during the pandemic caused
by COVID-19 in our country as of March 2020 as a result of the decision of
the CoHE Executive Board Meeting dated April 15, 2020.
The following decisions were taken at the CoHE Executive Board Meeting
dated June 7, 2023, due to the fact that the COVID-19 pandemic has ended:
1.
Candidates will be required to have a minimum score of 40 points out of
100 in the Turkish Medical Equivalency Exam for medical applications,
2. The new decision will not be applied to the candidates for whom it had
been decided before the date of this decision that they would be considered
successful in the exam if they obtained a minimum score of 35 out of 100,
3. This decision will not apply to those who had applied before the date of
this decision.
