Students wishing to study abroad can check the higher education
institutions that are “recognized” by CoHE through the E-Government Gateway (
https://www.turkiye.gov.tr/yok-okul-tanima-belgesi-sorgulama
).
This issue is extremely important as it is not desirable for students to
deal with problems related to equivalence after graduation.
It appears that there has been misleading information on the websites and,
especially on social media, of some universities that are not listed in the
list of recognized higher education institutions stating that they are
recognized by CoHE and that CoHE issues certificates of equivalence to its
graduates. In order to prevent any adverse effects on individuals, please
disregard any information on this issue on social media.
