The diploma verification procedures of those who applied for equivalence to
the Council of Higher Education after completing their higher education in
the Islamic Republic of Iran will be carried out as follows in line with
the request of the relevant country's official authorities:
Iranian citizens or foreign nationals who graduated from universities in
Iran (excluding medical and health fields, and military universities) are
required to have a 20-digit Graduation Code to verify the
authenticity of their diplomas. The Graduation Code can be obtained from
the Services-General Directorate of Graduates Affairs section by
registering on
https://Portal.saorg.ir
. The Graduation Code is essential for the receipt of applications for
Iranian university diplomas, confirmation of diplomas and proceeding of the
equivalence process.
New applicants must write their Graduation Code, Iranian National ID number
and phone number in the relevant section of the
Consent Declaration
, and the applications without a Graduation Code will not be accepted.
Candidates who had previously applied are required to submit their
petitions containing the requested information to the Council of Higher
Education.
