Announcement on Minimum Score for Turkish Medical Equivalency Exam

While the minimum score required to be successful in the Turkish Medical Equivalency Exam conducted by the Measuring, Selection and Placement Center was 40 out of 100, it was reduced to 35 points during the pandemic caused by COVID-19 in our country as of March 2020 as a result of the decision of the CoHE Executive Board Meeting dated April 15, 2020.

The following decisions were taken at the CoHE Executive Board Meeting dated June 7, 2023, due to the fact that the COVID-19 pandemic has ended:

1. Candidates will be required to have a minimum score of 40 points out of 100 in the Turkish Medical Equivalency Exam for medical applications,

2. The new decision will not be applied to the candidates for whom it had been decided before the date of this decision that they would be considered successful in the exam if they obtained a minimum score of 35 out of 100,

3. This decision will not apply to those who had applied before the date of this decision.
