PRESS RELEASE REGARDING THE DEVELOPMENTS IN UKRAINE
As the Council of Higher Education, we have been following the developments
in Ukraine since February 24 with concern. We hope that the parties will
come together and resolve their disagreements through dialogue and
negotiation, not through war and armed conflict that cause loss of life and
property. We also hope that the state of war and conflict in the country
will be replaced by a climate of peace and tranquility as soon as possible.
The evacuation of our citizens, including our students studying in Ukraine,
continues under the coordination of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the
Republic of Turkey. The Council of Higher Education closely follows the
developments along with other public institutions and organizations.
