Special Call for CoHE 100/2000 Doctoral Scholarship for Pandemic

As the New CoHE, we attach great importance to training people with doctoral degrees in the priority fields needed by Turkey.
The “CoHE 100/2000 Doctoral Scholarship Project”, which was initiated in the spring term of the 2016-2017 academic year, allowed significant works to be carried out to increase the number of PhD holders by taking into consideration the priority fields needed in Turkey. Currently, there are approximately five thousand doctoral students within the scope of the project.
The New Coronavirus pandemic, which threatens all countries around the world, has also affected our country in every area. CoHE 100/2000 Doctoral Scholarship holders have also contributed greatly in terms of competent people in the fight against the pandemic in our country, especially in the studies on vaccines and medicine.
Considering the new conditions and needs during the ongoing global pandemic, CoHE determined 22 pandemic-oriented fields and announced the special call for CoHE 100/2000 Doctoral Scholarship for the pandemic.
The fields include Studies on Vaccines, Studies on Medicine, Infectious Diseases and Immunology, Protective Medical Materials (Design/Production/Supply), Biomedical Technology and Equipment (Design/Production/Supply), Distant Learning Applications (including Virtual Laboratory Applications, and Digital Game Technologies in Education), Remote Working Methods, Employment and Business Models, Individual and Social Psychology, Public Health (Clinical Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Health Policies and Administration), Healthy Nutrition and Healthy Life, Digital Platforms and Social Media (including Social Media Management) and Food Production and Consumption Chains.
