Announcement on Tuition Fees that Students Receiving Education in Higher Education Institutions within the Scope of Decree Law No. 667 Must Pay for Summer Education (08.06.2017)

The following decisions regarding the tuition fees that students, who are placed in other higher education institutions after the higher education institutions they were enrolled in were closed down according to Decree Law No. 667, have to pay for summer education were taken at the Executive Council dated 07.06.2017:

 

The following conditions apply to students who continue to receive education in higher education institutions within the scope of Decree Law No. 667.

 

In case students take summer courses in the higher education institutions where they were placed within the scope of Decree Law No. 667 or they are taking courses as special students,

 

1) In accordance with the choice of the student,

 

a) Students shall pay the same amount of tuition fee determined for the students of the higher education institution where they will take summer courses in.

 

or

 

b) They shall pay the tuition fee for one summer course determined by multiplying the ECTS credit of the course by the tuition fee for 1 ECTS credit which is calculated by dividing the tuition fee determined for the 2016-2017 academic year by 60 ECTS credits for one year.

 

c) Students in programs with scholarships set out in the OSYS Guide shall pay the tuition fee according to their scholarship rates.

 

2) In case students take summer courses in higher education institutions other than the higher education institutions where they were placed in or are taking courses as special students, they shall be subject to the tuition fee determined for summer courses by the higher education institutions they are taking summer courses in.

 

3) Students shall pay all tuition fees for summer courses to higher education institutions where they are taking summer courses in.
