Grading

5.1.3   The faculty has sufficient facilities and equipment (laboratories, workshops, computers, special rooms for sports and fine arts activities, etc.) to run the existing program

1.    Facilities have the necessary physical (building, garden, common indoor and outdoor areas, transportation, etc.) and technical infrastructure to efficiently apply the relevant curriculum 

2.    The equipment (such as the instruments, tools, computers) in the facilities support the curriculum and is up-to-date.

3.    Necessary measures are taken against possible hazards and accidents.

4.    Principles and procedures for work in the facilities with specialist equipment are set.

5.    Storage rooms of appropriate features are provided for equipment. 

6.    Work in facilities is run by experienced staff.

·         For each program, description of facilities (computer labs, science labs, art studios, music rooms)

·         For each program, description of specialist education equipment, including computer software.

·         Visits to facilities.

·         List of staff to support and maintain facilities and equipment.

·         Regulations on safety in special facilities.

·         Interviews with faculty staff

·         Interviews with students

Facilities:

A       are at a sufficient level to run the related programs with respect to number, infrastructure, equipment, faculty staff and technical staff. They are well-used and they improve teaching skills of students. 

B       are sufficient in number, infrastructure, faculty and technical staff, but the equipment is not sufficient. 

C       are generally insufficient in terms of number, infrastructure and equipment. 

D      are insufficient to support the relevant program.
