- The number of applicants placed in state and foundation universities increased

According to the data on the additional placements in 2018, the number of candidates placed in the undergraduate programs of state universities is 15,335, and the number of candidates placed in the associate degree programs of state universities is 47,739.

According to the data on the additional placements in 2018, the number of candidates placed in the undergraduate programs of foundation universities is 3,147, and the number of candidates placed in the associate degree programs of foundation universities is 12,712.

However, the fact that fewer students applied for the quotas allocated for some undergraduate programs also indicates that state and foundation universities should have new criteria when planning the quotas next year.

It is clear that there is a tendency towards programs with a high probability of professional practice due to employment concerns. The high occupancy in associate degree programs also confirms this fact. In addition, in contrast to the previous year, the new entry system and the participation of students in associate degree programs as one point type have a great role.
