Update on Repertory of Practice of United Nations Organs (02.05.2017)

In the annual session of the Special Committee on the Charter of the United Nations and on the Strengthening of the Role of the Organization that was held from February 21 to March 1, 2017, in New York, the officials of the Office of Legal Affairs of the UN Secretariat gave insight into the practices related to the update on the repertory under the agenda topics of "Repertory of Practice of United Nations Organs" and "Repertory of Practice of Security Council".

The United Nations expressed their gratitude towards the countries, including Turkey, that contributed to the related trust funds to be used in the financing of such practices and called for the countries to make additional contributions and present experts who can be assigned to update the repertory.

"Repertory of Practice of United Nations Organs" which was prepared by the related units in coordination with the Office of Legal Affairs is updated as of 2009 and "Repertory of Practice of Security Council" is updated as of 2013.
