| Directorate of Education and Training is responsible for the following functional areas: |
- duties concerning opening, closing and unification of faculty, school of higher education, higher vocational school, research and applied studies center and graduate programs as well as second shift (evening) education programs
- duties concerning preparation of the booklets of Student Selection and Placement Examination (ÖSYS), Examination for Foreigners (YÖS), The Examination for Vertical Transfer of Two-Year College Graduates (DGS), Entrance Without Examination to the Vocational Higher Schools and to the Associate’s Degree Programs of the Open Education Faculty (MSG) and The Higher Education Entrance Examination for the Students whose Parents Work Abroad (YÇS)
