1. The original or certified copy and certified photocopy of the Bachelor’s diploma or certificate of graduation,
2. For the Bachelor’s diplomas obtained abroad, if the diploma equivalency certificate has not been issued before, application form must be filled and the required documents stated in the application form must be presented for Bachelor’s diploma equivalency procedures. If the diploma equivalency certificate has already been issued, photocopy thereof must be presented,
3. The original of the Master’s level diploma or certificate of graduation and the Turkish translation and the photocopy thereof certified by notary public or by the corresponding Turkish Consular,
4. The original of the official transcript in which all the course grades and weekly course hours taken during Master’s degree studies are indicated and the Turkish translation and photocopy thereof certified by notary public or by the corresponding Turkish Consular,
5. If transferred to the institution of higher education that awarded the diploma from another higher education institution, then the original copy of the official transcript of the transferred institution, with the Turkish translation and photocopy thereof certified by notary public or by the corresponding Turkish Consular,
6. Original Master’s thesis and a copy thereof,
7. Copy of Birth Certificate,
8. Original passport and readable photocopies of the pages that give clear evidence for the entry and departure dates, and also those pages where the official procedures recorded, or readable passport copies certified by notary public or by the corresponding Turkish Consular with the pages that give clear evidence for the entry and departure dates and the official procedures recorded,
9. For those applicants graduated from any university in Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, documents evidencing entry and departure records to be obtained from Immigration Directorate of the Command Headquarters of TRNC Security Forces and from the Security General Directorates of the Republic of Turkey. ALES certificate is also requested.
10. For foreign applicants, original and photocopy of the document evidencing the reason for the need for certificate of equivalency,
11. An envelope with size 26 x 35 cm,
12. Turkish Republic Identity Number,
13. ÖSYM (Student Selection and Placement Center) Number

INFORMATION NOTE:

1) The original diplomas and transcripts submitted to the Council of Higher Education for Diploma Equivalency Examination Process are given back to the applicant at the end of the Examination Process either by hand or by post as stated in the front page of the Application Form by the applicant. However, the other submitted documents are not returned. The documents which are given back by hand must be delivered to the applicant personally or to the representative if the individual holds a proxy from the notary public or Turkish Consular.

2) Application with incomplete documents will not be processed. The applicant will be sent a letter informing him/her of the incomplete documents and he/she will be given time to complete them. The Council is not responsible for the postal delay or lose which may occur in transit of the letter.
